Sole365 is a brand owned by AP commerciale s.r.l., a family business that has become over the years one of the main players on the distribution scene in Campania. The company is linked by a strong partnership with the Megamark Group, the leading distribution company in southern Italy. Today the network consists of about 50 stores scattered throughout Campania, to which great attention is paid, especially in the care of design. The goal is to create environments aware of the centrality that the shopping experience takes on, in which the customer feels comfortable.
 

The challenge

"Sole365 is a brand, as well as a business project, owned by AP commerciale s.r.l., a family business that has become over the years one of the main players in the Campania distribution scene.

The company is linked by a strong partnership with the Megamark Group, the leading distribution company in southern Italy, and the Selex Group.

The opening of the first supermarket dates back to 2013, but the network continues to grow so much that it has reached 58 stores in Campania, of which 43 are direct and 15 are affiliates.

Our priority was to simplify the dialogue between the stores and our offices-we have more than 2,000 employees, we were looking for a standard that was easy to use especially for those who are not part of the IT department.

We also needed to make data transit much more secure and streamline email management, file sharing, and streamline our data center. Before using Google Workspace , we had constant problems with internal NAS and depleted disk space. It was necessary to simplify the management of file servers, internal network and data sharing outside the main office."

The results

"With power2Cloud 's assistance, we were able to migrate most of the network NAS platform to the Drive and had no downtime or lockouts. In just 3 weeks we migrated about 200 accounts, organizing training prior to the transition to Google Workspace.

With the help of Google Workspace we solved so many problems and eliminated unnecessary slowdowns, greatly increasing the security of information on our systems and finally adopting a single standard.

Initially many people, while realizing the potential of the tools, had not readily accepted the replacement of the old methods. Instead, after only 2 weeks they revolutionized their way of working and even became proactive about the solutions we could implement.

Our colleagues began to use Google Forms to gather information in real time that they had previously had to ask for with emails and phone calls, saving useful time. With Drive we have made it as easy as possible to manage file sharing inside and outside the offices. Sales uses it to automate the morning order request. Stores have adopted it quickly. Today they are able to create Shared Worksheets, Forms, or anything else on their own without the support of the IT department.

Finally, the relationship with the marketing staff who collaborate with us consultants and internal resources has been extremely simplified, especially with regard to customer care, which as we know has to be managed in real time."
