Google forms to organize delivery

If you are not planning to open an eCommerce or you want to find a tool to help organize your delivery, you can choose Google Forms, anApp included in your Gmail consumer (the free one intended for individuals) and in G Suite in the version for Companies.

If you have never dealt with this and you are studying new business models with home delivery of your products, you will know that collecting orders and organizing the delivery with all the relevant details (phone, day, address) is not easy especially if the volume of requests is a lot. You need to use the right tools!

Gathering delivery information from Social, email or phone can be scattered, managing multiple contact windows is really challenging! If only a few people are dealing with it then or if you care about optimizing resources, we recommend using Forms.

 

 

In each Form you can report in detail all the items you want to collect from your customers, the items can be mandatory or optional, in textual or numerical form as appropriate, you decide!

What can you do with Google Forms to organize delivery?

You can customize the Google Form by inserting:

  • images
  • videos
  • Short answer
  • Paragraph
  • Multiple Choice
  • Drop-down list
  • Linear scale
  • Multiple choice grid
  • Grid with check boxes

When you've entered all the parameters you're interested in you'll get a link to send by email or through Whatsapp to your broadcast list.

Forms is responsive: content will adapt seamlessly to all devices so your customers can view it optimally on tablets, computers, smartphones.

Once people fill in the required items, all the data will be collected in real time in a Google Sheet (similar to an Excell file). You will have clear all the requests and can filter the information according to the parameters that interest you most: municipality and delivery days, for example, to optimize travel.

Of course, before sending the Google Form you will have to set the general settings to make the link visible to everyone (even those who do not have a Google account).
