Can I create group chats?

Yes. With Chat, you can collaborate with your colleagues in an even simpler and more intuitive way. If you need it, in addition to individual chats, you can create Virtual Rooms to allow teams to work in a single space in a more productive way on projects. You can participate in online meetings with Google Meet and add bots to introduce other tools or workflows into the conversation.
What types of files can I attach in Chat?

From Google Chat, you can add files (up to 200 MB) from your computer, mobile device, or Google Drive. Image files can be in BMP, GIF, JPEG, PNG, WBMP, or HEIC format.
Can I search through Google Chat messages?

Yes. You can search for the information you want across all your messages in Google Chat. You can also refine your search based on messages exchanged with specific people or for certain file types (Docs, Sheets, PDFs, Slides, Links, Videos).
Can I block or report someone?

If you don't want to chat with someone in Google Chat, you can block them (this applies to direct messages, not those exchanged in groups or virtual rooms). The person will be able to see that they can no longer send you messages.
Can I start a video meeting in Google Chat?

Absolutely! In any message in Google Chat, in the reply area, you can click on the appropriate icon and send your interlocutor the link to join a video meeting.
