With HubSpot, Ponzio optimises its sales team and embraces automation

Ponzio, an Italian company producing aluminum systems for windows and facades, has embarked on a digital transformation journey by adopting HubSpot with power2Cloud.

“When I joined Ponzio - explains Giuseppe Francavilla, Senior Business Developer & CRM Manager - the CRM was my first request!”.

With a €100 million revenue and a focus on B2B sales both domestically and internationally, Ponzio understood the importance of moving beyond their old CRM. This shift was essential for streamlining sales and Customer Service operations, and also to gain independence in tool management and custom adjustments, which had previously relied on an external software provider.

In an initial phase, Ponzio had to address several needs:

  • A flexible CRM that could be managed independently, including customisations, and data centralisation to be shared across all teams;
  • Marketing automation, essential for the content team and lead generation;
  • Personalised and omnichannel Customer Service to overcome the receipt of tickets via email only, which risked going unanswered or being answered late;
  • Real-time reports for the sales team, to track timelines, budgets, and goals, accessible on mobile devices;

The project achieved success thanks to a number of activities:

  • custom integration between HubSpot and the Customer Reserved Area (with support features and value creation through news sharing).
  • implementation of an automatic new lead management service in synergy with the Ponzio Areas (hundreds of independent commercial affiliates distributed throughout the national territory).
  • data centralisation to improve internal processes and customer experience.
  • working on the go thanks to the mobile app. 
  • adoption of smart features, perfect for all teams such as custom forms, drag-and-drop landing pages, group calendars, templates, and snippets.
  • creation of marketing automations to manage lead generation and brand awareness, according to approved and synergistic strategies.
  • structuring workflows dedicated to Customer Service. With specific forms, technical requests are now collected. This makes it possible to create customized flows to manage everything more smoothly and efficiently, with accurate reports indicating incoming, processed, or unresolved requests. Nothing is missed.
  • personalised training organised by power2Cloud, to make the most of the dedicated Hub features, according to use cases.

HubSpot has enabled Ponzio to overcome past limitations and embark on a customer-focused growth path.

The main objective has been achieved: to improve efficiency and customer loyalty by creating a dedicated area on Ponzio’s website for customers to access support and get news and updates. Thanks to HubSpot, today there is a better understanding of real-time performance, not only for marketing campaigns, but for sales and service teams too.

The team's collaborative workflow, supported by open information sharing, has deepened their understanding of the complete customer journey.

As a result of increased marketing awareness, Ponzio can now manage marketing activities independently. The company intends to further integrate HubSpot into its various teams to streamline operations and increase efficiency.
