Email signature as a marketing tool

How many emails do you send per day? Your signature travels with your communications.

Your email signature conveys the information that allows users to get in touch with you or the company you work for. 

How much do you care for your signature image and especially how much do you leverage it for your marketing or business initiatives?  

Insert a banner into your business signature

Follow the directions to include your information in your Gmail signature and also add an image as an advertising/informational banner.

Our advice is to link the image to a landing page or your website to convey all your initiatives from time to time. 

 

 

How do I insert a signature in Gmail?

  1. In your Gmail email click on the Settings icon (little wheel in the upper right corner)
  2. Then in General and look for the Signature 
  3. item.
  4. Enter all your information in the Signature box: recaps, website, social, logo

Add an image for your banner with the link to the landing page you wish to display

    1. Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page

Can I manage multiple signatures?

If you manage multiple aliases, for example from alessia@nomedellatuazienda.it you also answer for webinar@nomedellatuazienda.it or supporto@nomedellatuazienda.it you can use different signatures. 

From the Settings Gmail enter different signatures in the space provided by clicking Create New and associate them with the desired alias. 

 

 

How do I change my signature while I am writing an email?

1. When you write an email in Gmail, select from the drop-down menu the sender's alias from which you want the communication to start, the signature will update automatically. 

2. Or click on the pen icon, at the bottom left of the email you are composing, to view and choose from those created.
