We are happy to share with you today's births: so far in Italy 612 babies have been born in Italy, about 180,000 in the world, a number that is bound to grow. Every once in a while it is good to give good news too!
At such a sensitive time, we still want to wish you Happy Easter, happy rebirth, hoping to find you safely at home coloring eggs with the children, perhaps with saffron, chard, and some natural dyes recovered at the last moment.
Maybe you are engaged in a Meet with grandparents and loved ones while juggling at the stove trying to come up with traditional dishes. If you haven't found everything you need, it doesn't matter. It will be a special Easter just the same.
A thought we want to address to those who are in the hospital far from home. We thank the health care staff who also work these days for us, for our health. We thank the pharmacists, the couriers, those who work in supermarkets, the mail carriers, and all those who make it possible to cope with this pandemic by guaranteeing essential services in spite of everything.
They are all working for us.
It's a different Easter, it's an Easter where we are more united even if we are not all close.
