Why is Google Meet safe for your video conferencing?
Google Meet ensures security for your data, here's why:
You have a wide range of host controls, such as the ability to admit or deny access to a meeting and, if necessary, mute or remove participants.
The codes for attending a meeting are complex by default to be hacked.
Meeting videos in Meet are encrypted like all recordings stored in Google Drive.
You don't need plugins to use Meet on the web. The App runs directly on Chrome and other browsers, so it is less vulnerable to security threats.
On mobile devices, you have thededicated Google Meet App in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.
You can use more effective security protections available against phishing and account hijacking (such as Security Token, two-step verification).
Google Cloud undergoesregular and rigorous security and privacy audits for all its services. Global compliance certifications can help support regulatory requirements such as GDPR and HIPAA, as well as COPPA and FERPA for education.
Your Meet data is not used for advertising and is not sold to third parties.

How can you use Google Meet?
There are those who used Google Meet before the pandemic, those who invented new ways to organize work in a more streamlined, safe and fast way, let's see some insights:
Hospitals can follow patients, monitor and analyze even important clinical parameters directly at home, avoiding unnecessary hospital stays for days on end just for their monitoring
Banks organize Meet with loan applicants
sales teams assist customers remotely. A few days ago we happened to see an e-commerce company organizing Meet with customers to show the fit of garments and give personal advice
manufacturers can securely interact with warehouse technicians
also you can organize Meet for all those representative activities that used to be done only door-to-door to give continuity to their work as well
many personal trainers have taken advantage of this opportunity to take more classes and also launch online consulting services, even for more distant clients, and so it has happened a little bit to all consulting professions, in short, companies in every industry and small large entities are using Meet to stay in touch.
